Where and when is the wedding?
The ceremony/reception is located at Heritage Sandy Springs, 6075 Sandy Springs Cir NE, Atlanta, GA 30328. The date of the wedding is Saturday, May 16, 2009.
Where is parking for the wedding?
Parking is located at 2 areas: on Bluestone Rd and on Sandy Springs Place (right across from the park).
What is the dress code?
We prefer everyone to dress in African attire. However, if not comfortable, business casual is fine. Also, this is an outdoor event so dress in light fabrics. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers.
What is the wedding theme?
We chose a traditional African theme to reflect on our rich heritage.
What are the wedding colors?
The color scheme is shades of purple and gold, colors of royality!
Are children allowed to the wedding?
Definitely! We have no age restrictions. Since this is a cultural event, we would like all ages to enjoy this unique experience.
What does sankofa mean?
